Well, it finally went through. This year you will get a written warning in the mail, I think, for violations on no burn days. Next year it will be a $50 fine. They call it a 2 tier system, where they "discourage" burning (read: voluntary) at a certain level, restrict non-clean burning fireplaces at another level (~22 days/season), and ban them all on bad days (~11 days/season).
