weekend

I went to Monterey this weekend for the first time. I was supposed to go sea kayaking for a friend engagement party but there was a freak lightning storm off the coast that canceled the plan. We went and ate dinner and partied with friends in downtown for the evening and then another couple returned to our room with us and we played cranium. We are dorks but it was good time, especially when you are drunk.

I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the first time as well. I was excited because I have seen a few pictures from others who have gone and they are always impressive. I enjoyed it quite thoroughly but there were entirely too many people there and after a while I got claustrophobic and had to get out of there.

I will post pictures tomorrow. I did get some awesome ones, I think. There were TONS of jellys and I got some good fish and shark shots as well.
