Surfing around flickr I found out about a photo event here in Sac. It is called 15 days in may. The theme is you have 15 days, from the 1st of May (that's right now!) to take photos around West Sac. You get to submit only 1 photo. There are cash prizes and I think they are going to make a calendar. Check it out and participate if you are interested.
I just picked up a tripod today. I am now officially a photographer! (as opposed to another dumb-ass with a point-and-shoot)
If I make it into West Sac in the next week, I will be sure to go photo hunting and submit something to this contest. Who knows, maybe you, or I, could win!
Photos must be taken in West Sac, and must be taken after May 1st 2007.
