I told you so!

Dell has been selling laptops with Linux on them for a while, but only at about 1% of their sales. I have said that Microsoft cannot maintain market dominance forever, especially not now that more and more lamens are becoming techies. Freeware, particularly open source software is user driven, and has consistently generated features that the big boys are only able to copy after the fact.

Not only does Ubuntu kick ass all on its own, but now Wal-Mart, the all powerful force of mass consumerism, is going to sell Ubuntu desktop systems for $200 bucks out the door!

BAM! Take that, nay sayers! Just the START! You watch. I am not predicting the demise of M$, only that the world is going to get tired of it, and start to move onto other, better things. You will see. I say it here, now, for posterity, that way I can come back and say, "See... I told you so!" :)
