DARPA is holding an urban automotive robotics competition tomorrow. It is at an Air Force base in Victorville, a podunk town near LA.
$2 million dollars for first place! 60 urban miles with 50 live traffic vehicles which the 11 contestant vehicles must navigate in a safe manner according to California DMV standards in less than 6 hours.
