OMG! RIAA royally screws mom over royalties

Apparently most (all) of the 26,000 people that the RIAA is prosecuting for copyright infringement have followed advice and settled out of court for a few thousand dollars, except this woman. She decided to take her case to court. She lost. They ruled against her in the form of $227,000!!! A woman living paycheck to paycheck may now have to give the RIAA 25% of each check for the rest of her life! I say may because the RIAA does not HAVE to force her to pay just because they won the case... we have to wait and see if making an example out of her is good enough for them.
