Sounds on google earth may benefit nature

Reading the article it sounds like just a google add-on, but they make an interesting argument at the end. They claim that selective logging harms the ecosystem, which of course the loggers will dispute. They point out that the picture of the environment before and after selective logging look exactly the same, but he says that the sound is completely different. There is no backing for this claim, but the man has the largest library of natural sounds in existance, so if that doesn't make him an expert I don't know what does.

Interesting idea.
