Choosing a Canon macro lens...

...by working distance vs price. I found this on someone else's site. It is a PDF and gives the break down.

Ultimately this is what it comes down to:
60mm Canon macro EF-S USM = 10 cm WD @ $390
70mm Sigma EX DG macro est 11.5 cm WD @ $430
100mm Canon macro EF USM = 15 cm WD @ $470
150mm Sigma EX IF macro HSM = 20 cm WD @ $580
180mm Canon EF USM = 25 cm WD @ $1,250
180mm Tamron macro = 26 cm WD @ $690
Other lenses
50mm Canon f/2.5 1:2 Compact macro @200
65mm Canon MP–E65 f/2.8 1-5x Macro Photo @830
300mm Canon f/4L IS, +2 Diopter 500D & 1.4X TC @$1,500

See!?! That is what I was talking about earlier, when I said that I am going to go the $40 lens adapter route. I am sure these lenses are all VERY nice, and will produce EXCELLENT shots, but I can't afford another lens right now. FYI.
